Warranty policy

Our company values your choice and strives to provide you with products of the highest quality. We are confident in the reliability of our power stations and battery modules, which is why we provide an official warranty for our products. Please carefully review the warranty policy terms and the return procedure.

1. Return Policy (Right of Withdrawal within 14 days)

In accordance with European Union (EU) consumer protection directives, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase (return the goods) within 14 (fourteen) calendar days, excluding the day of receipt of the goods.

Conditions for returning goods of proper quality:

• The item must be returned unused, undamaged, in its original packaging, and in a condition suitable for resale.
• The product must not have been installed or connected to an electrical system.
• The complete set of the item, all labels, and factory markings must be preserved.
• A proof of purchase document (receipt or invoice) confirming the purchase must be provided.

Logistics costs:

Our fair pricing policy allows us to minimize the final cost of products for you, as we do not build potential return costs into the product price.

Therefore, when returning goods of proper quality within 14 days, you will be refunded the full cost of the goods minus the actual shipping costs incurred by our company for delivering the goods to you.

• Return Shipping: The Buyer (hereinafter the Client) bears responsibility for the direct costs of returning the goods.
• Packaging and Risks: The Client is responsible for proper and safe packaging of the goods to prevent damage during return transport. The risk of loss or damage to the goods during return transport remains with the Client until actual receipt and inspection of the goods by Hatcat OÜ.
• Refund: After receiving and successfully inspecting the goods for compliance with return conditions, we will refund your funds (minus actual shipping costs).

2. Warranty Period

The warranty period for Hatcat power stations and battery modules is 12 months from the date indicated on your proof of purchase document (receipt or invoice).

• The warranty applies only to goods purchased directly from our official online store or authorized dealers.
• To receive warranty service, you must provide the original document confirming the purchase (receipt, invoice) and the serial number of the device.
• The warranty covers only the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

3. What the Warranty Covers

Obvious defects and damage must be reported to us within 14 days of delivery of the goods. Any subsequent claims are excluded. The warranty covers exclusively material defects and manufacturing flaws that arose during normal operation of the device in accordance with the user manual.

Warranty service includes (at the company's discretion):

1. Free repair of the device by an authorized service center.
2. Replacement of the device with a similar new or refurbished device of equal characteristics.
3. Refund for the goods if repair or replacement is impossible.

4. Warranty Exclusions (What is not covered)

Warranty obligations do not apply to the following cases:

• Normal wear and tear: Natural wear of components, as well as normal and expected degradation (reduction) of battery capacity over time.
• Cosmetic damage: Scratches, dents, chips, or other cosmetic defects that do not affect the functionality and safety of the device.
• Improper use: Damage caused by negligent operation, misuse, overloading, or violation of the rules set forth in the user manual.
• Commercial use: The warranty applies only to personal domestic use (not for commercial operation or rental).
• Unauthorized interference: Any damage resulting from attempts at self-repair, disassembly, modification, or interference with the device structure by unauthorized persons.
• External factors:
  • Damage caused by connection to power sources with inappropriate voltage, voltage surges in the power grid.
  • Ingress of liquid, moisture, dust, dirt, insects, or other foreign objects into the device.
  • Mechanical damage caused by dropping, impact, or excessive physical pressure.
  • Damage resulting from force majeure circumstances (fire, flood, earthquake, lightning strike, extreme temperatures, etc.).
• Violation of storage or transport rules: Damage caused by non-compliance with rules for storing or transporting the device.
• Improper battery storage: If the item was stored in a fully discharged / charged state for more than 6 (six) months.
• Use of incompatible accessories: Damage caused by the use of chargers, cables, or other accessories that are not original or certified for use with this device.
• Identification violation: If the serial number or warranty seal on the device is damaged, altered, or removed.
• Consumables: The warranty does not cover consumable materials such as cables, adapters, etc. (unless their malfunction is caused by a factory defect).

5. Warranty Service Procedure

If you encounter problems with the device during the warranty period, please follow this procedure:

2. Provide necessary information:
   Be ready to provide clear proof of purchase (receipt or invoice), the device serial number (usually located on the case), and, upon request, photo or video materials demonstrating the malfunction.
3. Diagnostics:
   Our technical team will conduct a preliminary diagnosis based on the information you provide. In some cases, it may be necessary to send the device to our service center for a full technical examination. The shipping address will be provided by the support team.
4. Repair or replacement:
   If the defect is determined to be a warranty case, we will repair or replace your device free of charge. Repair times depend on the complexity of the malfunction and the availability of necessary components.

Shipping for warranty cases:

• If the defect is confirmed as a warranty case, our company covers the costs of shipping the device to the service center and back to you.
• If diagnostics determine the device is functional, or the malfunction is determined to be non-warranty (due to violation of conditions listed in Section 4), the buyer is responsible for paying logistics costs in both directions.

Disclaimer: Our company is not liable for any damages (including data loss, loss of profit, or other commercial losses) caused by the use or inability to use our products, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Also, Hatcat is not liable for any damage caused by violation of the instructions and operating rules accompanying each device.
